Looking back to my 2nd most recent post, its posted on the 1st of September 2008. Wow, I'm one big fat slacker.
Let's look at some numbers from the Indices (September 2008 ► March 2009)
Nikkei 12,834 ► 8,236
Hang Seng 20,906 ► 13,456
Singapore ST 2,709 ► 1,673
Topix 1,230 ► 789
Wow.. All main Asian Index shaved off either one digit off, or decreased one, to the first digit that is, not the last. How I wish I still have all my cash before the stock market microwaved it. Microwave is faster than roasting ay?
Another interesting back peeking to my Crude Oil Price per Barrel post.
Crude oil is actually at $50 now, comparing to averagely $120 then. It was actually even lower at $37 few weeks back. Production cut at its best. Anyone going into Crude oil futures?

Cheap vs [$]Better[/$]
Latest Microsoft ad campaign attacks Apple pricing - from Hexus.net
This advertisement is about a girl wanting to get a 17" laptop for $1000. And if she finds one, it will be hers. So she went into a Mac store and found out she can only get a 13" laptop with a budget of $1000. And she later found a HP 17" laptop for only $699.
And from the replies posted by readers, seems that Mac is not having too many fans. One saying Apple laptop uses Seagate's seconds, meaning refurbished? And dodgy Nvidia display chipset with bumps, meaning artifacts?
And some about the resale value being higher, and another replied the percentage of value decrement is actually the same. This is quite interesting. Like a BMW 3series bought at RM200,000 and later sold at RM150,000 comparing to a Persona bought at RM50,000 and later sold at RM37,500. And you say BMW has a higher resale value. Good point mate.
I would slack on the fence for this case.
First, why would ANYONE with a budget goes into a Mac Store, dammit. Only people with spare cash goes to Mac Store Okayy?
Second, I would think carrying a Mac laptop is like driving a BMW/Mercedes/Porsche. You can get any Japanese car for RM120,000 why would you get a RM400,000 car?
Too many ZEROs in bank account, duh. *Lim Peh got too much money, choi meh*. Its the best way show that you are rich. Or taunt a robber to rob you.
Don't get me wrong, I'm the one buying a motorcycle and assembling my own PC, aka Poor Dude.
Morale of the day: Don't go into a Mac Store with a budget. Nah.
Morale of the day: Please know your wallet's limit. Nah.
Morale of the day: This blog is full of nothing-ness okay.. you don't get morales from here. Sheez.
